DeBary Park & Ride Lot Expansion Complete

Nearly 500 parking spaces now available for SunRail commuters and carpool groups

DeBary, FL – The Florida Department of Transportation’s reThink Your Commute program will celebrate the expansion of the DeBary Park & Ride Lot on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. The ribbon-cutting event will take place at the DeBary lot, located at 630 South Charles R. Beall Boulevard, which is also home to the SunRail station.

Utilization at the DeBary Park & Ride Lot was consistently high, leading the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to expand the lot from its original 275 spaces to 486 spaces. The parking spaces are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the intent that after parking, commuters complete their trip on SunRail. With the additional spaces now available, carpool and vanpool groups are encouraged to use the lot as a meet-up location.

Speakers at the July 11 ribbon-cutting event include SunRail CEO Nicola Liquori, FDOT District Five Director of Operations Alan Hyman, and City of DeBary Mayor Bob Garcia.
