Safety Tips

DO NOT enter the railroad right of way for any reason - this is considered trespassing, and it is illegal and dangerous. The railroad right of way is usually marked by a fence or "No Trespassing" sign.

DO always stay at least 30' away from rail construction and trains.

DO NOT approach or try to communicate with railway workers at any time. If you need to talk with someone from SunRail, call Mike Wacht, SunRail public information specialist, at 407-487-4035.

DO use caution when near railroad tracks. Anytime is train time: trains can come from any direction on any track at any time - even during construction.

If you must cross railroad tracks:

• DO cross only at a designated railroad crossing
• DO look both ways and listen for oncoming trains
• DO cross quickly and safely
• DO NOT stop on the railroad for any reason
