Construction Update: February 7, 2012

Construction crews will be working on the railroad in your neighborhood, preparing for the debut of SunRail Commuter Rail service in 2014. Construction crews will close one lane of State Road (SR) 434 on Tuesday, February 7 from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. as crews repair asphalt at the railroad crossing. Crews will close the right lane of westbound SR 434 at the train tracks. One of the left turn lanes from northbound Ronald Regan Boulevard to westbound SR 434 will also be closed. Even with lane restrictions, traffic will still be able to use SR 434 while crews complete the repair work. Motorists are reminded to drive safely.

The Florida Department of Transportation also urges you to buckle up. Safety belts save lives.
