SunRail Celebrates Mobility Week with Try Transit Tuesday! SunRail, in partnership with LYNX, will be offering FREE rides all day Tuesday, October 29 in celebration of FDOT’s Mobility Week, October 25 – November 2.
What is Mobility Week?
Mobility Week is a cooperative effort by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its partner agencies to promote awareness of safe, multimodal transportation choices. During Mobility Week, counties, cities, and transportation agencies host events and offer special promotions to encourage Floridians to try new transportation options.

Mobility Week is an opportunity for the public to explore how the various travel choices help to reduce traffic congestion. SunRail, in partnership with LYNX, is offering FREE rides all day on Tuesday, October 29 in celebration of Mobility Week.

LYNX Safety Fair
Looking for something to do? LYNX is hosting a safety fair at the LYNX Central Station on Tuesday, October 29 from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM with giveaways and information on how to use public transportation safely.
Votran Rider Appreciation Event
Get ready to feel appreciated! Join Votran for their Rider Appreciation Event at the DeLand SunRail Station on Friday, October 25 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM with giveaways and helpful information.

Can I get a refund if I purchase a ticket or tap my
SunCard on a validator?
The ticket vending machines (TVMs) and ticket validator units (TVUs) will be taken offline to prevent ticket purchases or tapping a SunCard.
Can I get a refund if I activate a mobile ticket?
A courtesy ticket will be issued if a mobile ticket is activated during the free service. Please contact Customer Service at 855-724-5411 to complete this process.
I am a pass holder; will my pass be extended because the service is free?
Passes will not be extended as they already provide for unlimited rides; however, you will be able to travel outside of your zones/counties.
