ORLANDO, Fla. – SunRail is adding an additional later southbound train for one week only, March 14 – 18, giving Central Floridians more options to enjoy SunRail by day and night. The additional southbound train will be making all stops from Debary to Poinciana. The northbound schedule will not change.
There are several local attractions to entice riders to get on board and enjoy Central Florida by rail during the day. Outdoor fun, charming and quaint eateries, historical and significant cultural attractions, and more are suggested on SunRail’s station destinations page.
By evening, there are several happenings featured on the SunRail events calendar this week including shows at the Amway Center, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Orlando Shakes and The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, plus two Orlando Magic home games. As part of the SunRail and Orlando Magic partnership, all Magic ticket holders may ride SunRail for free to and from games by simply showing their ticket to SunRail Conductors.
“We are always looking for new ways to meet the needs of our community,” said SunRail Chief Operations Officer Charles “Mike” Heffinger. “Spring Break is a great time to promote evening events, especially around Church Street Station, that run later than our regular southbound schedule.”

SunRail provides rail service Monday through Friday along a 49-mile route from DeBary in Volusia County to Poinciana in Osceola County. SunRail currently has 16 stations and will extend service north to DeLand in early 2024. SunRail trains are ADA compliant, bicycle friendly, and include restrooms, power outlets, and free wi-fi.
