SUNCARD PASS OPTIONS
SunCard Passes give you the freedom to ride SunRail as many times as you want for 7, 30 or 365 consecutive calendar days after you first Tap On. Our Passes provide a significant savings over a daily ticket. The costs vary when traveling between counties, or SunRail “zones”. Click here for a map of the SunRail stations by counties/zones.
Seniors 65 and over, youth between the ages of 7-18, qualify for a 50% discount off of their fare. Persons with disabilities, regardless of age are eligible for a 50% discounted fare.
Upon request by a SunRail Fare Inspector, seniors and youth must show proof of age such as a drivers’ license, passport, Medicare card, Student ID or State ID card upon request by the onboard conductor. A LYNX or Votran Youth ID may also be used.
Additionally, children age 6 and under ride for free with a paying adult (limit 3 per adult).
PREPAID VALUE OPTION
Prepaid value allows you to place up to $270 onto your SunCard to pay one-way fares. Similiar to a debit card, your fare is deducted based on the distance traveled each time you board the train.
Passengers who use prepaid value receive a 10% bonus each time funds are loaded onto their SunCard. As well, additional discounts apply for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and youth between the ages of 7-18.
