SUNCARD PASS OPTIONS
SunCard Passes give you the freedom to ride SunRail as many times as you want for 7, 30 or 365 consecutive calendar days after you first Tap On. Our Passes provide a significant savings over a daily ticket. The costs vary when traveling between counties, or SunRail “zones”.
Seniors 65 and over, youth between the ages of 7-18, and those with disabilities as certified by LYNX or Votran or with a valid Medicare card, qualify for a 50% discount off of their fare. Before you purchase this type of discounted fare, please be aware that you must show a government issued valid ID if and when requested by the conductor on board the train. Persons who are visually impaired may also self-certify for the discounted fare if they have an ID card issued by the Department of Blind Services.
PREPAID VALUE OPTION
Prepaid value allows you to place up to $270 onto your SunCard to pay one-way fares. Similiar to a debit card, your fare is deducted based on the distance traveled each time you board the train.
Passengers who use prepaid value receive a 10% bonus each time funds are loaded onto their SunCard. As well, additional discounts apply for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and youth between the ages of 7-18.
