Three Phases, One Purpose

Phase 1
Innaugural Service

Central Florida’s new commuter rail line represents convenience of travel for residents and visitors. The first phase stretches 32 miles, connecting twelve SunRail stations throughout three different counties.

Southern Expansion Logo

Phase 2 South
Southern Expansion

The Southern Expansion, which opened on July 30, 2018, connects Sand Lake Road in Orange County to Poinciana in Osceola County. This is a 17.2-mile segment features four additional stations to the existing rail system.

Northern Expansion

The project will add 12.2 miles to the SunRail corridor expanding service from the DeBary SunRail Station to the new DeLand Station with a projected opening in the Summer of 2024.
