Sunrail Train Activity This Weekend – Grade Crossing Testing

Orlando, Fla. – Expect to see SunRail trains running Sunday morning, Sept. 22 as part of testing for future quiet zones and railroad grade crossing enhancements along the Central Florida Rail Corridor (CFRC) through the City of Orlando. Trains may run on either track from Highland Ave. through Columbia St. The testing time will last for approximately eight hours Sunday, with a train periodically traveling back and forth in this section of the corridor.

Railroad crossings where testing is occurring on Sunday include:

  • Colonial Dr.
  • Robinson St.
  • Church St.

Motorists may also see work occur near these crossings throughout the weekend in preparation for the testing.
