1. Download the Apps
Download both the SunRail Mobile App and the LYNX Paw Pass app.
SunRail Mobile App – Allows customers to easily purchase SunRail tickets and passes prior to the date of their trips.
LYNX Paw Pass – Provides customers the ability to purchase & manage LYNX passes.
2. Prepare Your Apps
Update the SunRail Mobile App and the LYNX Paw Pass with the following:
Create an Account – Both the SunRail and LYNX apps require an account to buy tickets.
Add Funds – In order to purchase tickets or passes in either app, you’ll need to load funds.
3. Check the Schedules
Review the SunRail and LYNX schedules to seamlessly connect your trip. SunRail does NOT operate on weekends.
Purchasing & Activating SunRail and LYNX Fare
SunRail Mobile Tickets
SunRail mobile tickets should be activated just before boarding a SunRail train. Tickets expire 2 hours after activation.
LYNX Passes
LYNX passes should be purchased just before boarding a LYNX bus. LYNX passes expire 5 minutes after purchase.
How To Get There
1. Purchase Your SunRail Fare
Buy your ticket or pass through the SunRail app. Wait to activate your fare until you’re ready to board.
2. Exit at Sand Lake Road Station
Once aboard, relax and enjoy traffic-free travel. Listen for overhead announcements and exit at the train at the Sand Lake Road Station.
3. Connect to LYNX for FREE
After exiting the train, walk to the LYNX boarding area and locate the LYNX Bus 311 (Westbound). Show the bus driver your SunRail fare to board.
How To Get Back
1. Purchase Your LYNX 311 Fare
Customers will need to locate the LYNX Bus 311 (Eastbound) at the LYNX bus shelters near the park entrance, then purchase the necessary pass on the LYNX Paw Pass app. Please consult GoLYNX.com for further details.
2. Exit at Sand Lake Road Station
Sit back and relax as the LYNX Route 311 travels eastbound to the Sand Lake Road SunRail Station.
3. Hop Aboard SunRail
Hop on SunRail for a smooth ride back to your starting station.
Riders who did NOT purchase a round-trip SunRail ticket will need to request a transfer ticket from the LYNX bus operator upon exiting the bus.
